- "Tickets" refers to valid entry passes to a specific event organised by Expertise Events.

- "Online Services" refers to any of the interactive functionality provided by the Website, including (but not limited to) purchasing tickets online, posting in online forums and participating in competitions.

Market Place & Club Shopping
Some of the Expertise Sites allow users to purchase products directly from show Exhibitors (as well as other retailers of products relevant to that site). This ecommerce platform allows you to perform a single checkout from multiple stores, and will automatically generate an invoice/receipt for each of the individual stores you have purchased from.
Please note that beyond providing the online platform to facilitate "Market Place" shopping Expertise Events is purely a payment and ecommerce service provider and does not have any control over, and are not responsible or liable for the products or services that are purchased through our system. We cannot ensure that a buyer or a seller you are dealing with will actually complete the transaction.
You acknowledge and agree that Expertise Events is not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. Expertise Events has no control over the legality or quality of items and content posted by members of the site and cannot ensure and do not guarantee that a member of our site will actually complete a transaction or act lawfully in using this site.
If you have a dispute with one or more users, you release Expertise Events from any and all claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes. Disputes should be handled directly with the seller (or buyer) with whom the purchase was placed. You can get in contact with Sellers by visiting their store and clicking "Contact Us" - and each sellers company and contact details are detailed on the invoices that are emailed to you immediately after placing a transaction.
All prices displayed on Market Place/Club Shopping pages and through this policy are in Australia Dollars.
Payment for items is made using our 256bit encrypted credit card checkout system hosted by PayPal Australia upon checkout. You can choose to pay either via credit card or your existing PayPal account. When paying by credit card or PayPal there is a $0.30 fee per store which will automatically be added to your order total to cover PayPal fees.
We are looking at introducing other payment methods including COD, cheque and direct deposit and these methods should become available soon.
Please note: stock for each item is not assigned to you until you have confirmed your order. If any item runs out of stock during the time you are browsing the site you will be automatically notified prior to paying for the item.
Shipping Fees and Delivery Times
(Please note - This is the default shipping policy however individual sellers may choose to modify this agreement on their own stores. Be sure to double check these policies for each store you are purchasing from.)
"Market Place" stores use Australia Post or Courier to deliver goods Australia wide. The delivery fee is calculated based on the number of items you purchase from each store, with some stores offering discounts for multiple items or orders over a certain value.
The delivery fee or shipping cost for your order is displayed at all times on your shopping cart page, per store you are purchasing from. Each store has its shipping charges (and discounts) clearly highlighted to help you choose the best option for your order.
After your order has been placed you will receive an automatically generated confirmation invoice via email. Each store you have purchased products from will then be notified of your order and will ship your products typically within 2 to 7 working days. If you have not received all of your items within 10 working days of placing your order, please use the 'Contact Us' section of the store to enquire directly with the store's operator.
(Please note - This is the default returns policy however individual sellers may choose to modify this agreement on their own stores. Be sure to double check these policies for each store you are purchasing from.)
The "Market Place" has been carefully designed to provide you with detailed information about each of the sellers products to help you make an informed selection. As sellers do not offer refunds or exchanges for "change of mind", please ensure you select carefully.
Sellers will provide an exchange (or refund at their discretion) for products that are received faulty or significantly different to those shown or described. In this case sellers will pay for the shipping costs for returning and resending the product. Please note that this warranty is limited to 14 days from the time the product was shipped.
If you wish to make a return please contact the seller using the "Contact Us" button on our store page, or the sellers contact information provided on your order confirmation invoice.
Unfortunately at this stage "Market Place" shopping is only available to customers within Australia and New Zealand. We anticipate being able to accept international orders towards the end of 2008.
Expertise Events actively monitors transactions performed through the "Market Place" sites and to the best of our ability enforce our Seller Terms of Service to help protect our shoppers. However, if you have an unresolvable issue with one of our exhibitors please notify our webmaster (email@example.com) so that the issue can be looked into and where appropriate the sellers account will be disabled. Please note that this process and the result is the sole discretion of Expertise Events.
Information you provide may be used to build up a profile about you to allow Expertise Events to tailor offers or marketing material which may be of interest to you. During the sign up process, and while using the online services you can elect whether or not you would like to receive specific promotional material - and you can unsubscribe from any of our promotional mailing lists through the Website. This includes competitions and direct marketing material by e-mail, post or SMS.
This User Agreement is between you, Expertise Events and its entities.
You may use this Website on the condition that you accept without modification the terms, conditions and notices contained herein. By accessing and using this Website, you agree to all of the terms within this document and to abide by all Australian Federal and State laws, as well as any laws applicable to your local region.
You also acknowledge that forums, chats, conferences, guest books and any other forms of communication hosted by this Website are public and not private communications. You acknowledge that the content of these communications forums is not endorsed by Expertise Events. You do not consider the content of these communications forums to be reviewed, screened or approved by Expertise Events.

Refunds & Returns
Unless otherwise specified:
- All tickets purchased from the Website are strictly purchased on a non-return basis. There are no exceptions to this ticket return policy.
- All merchandise purchased from Expertise Events through the Website is purchased on a non-return basis unless otherwise stated. We will not refund merchandise for a 'change of mind' or 'wrong choice' at any time.
- If you have received goods purchased via the on-line shop that have been damaged in transit and it can be shown that Expertise Events did not take duty of care when shipping the item correctly, a replacement may be issued at the sole discretion of Expertise Events. In this case, the damaged goods must be returned in their original packaging to Expertise Events, within 14 days of being posted to you by Expertise Events.
All products purchased from www.expertiseevents.com.au and its associated websites will be shipped at the discretion of Expertise Events. Freight and postage charges are included within the cost of each item.
Every attempt will be made by Expertise Events to deliver products purchased from the Website within an acceptable time-frame. However, as delivery is handled by logistics companies (such as Australia Post), Expertise Events can not be held accountable for any delays caused during transit.
